Occupational Hygienist

Description

To join our team, based in Seaton Delaval. The role will involve general occupational hygiene services, including LEV testing with much of the work being associated with the pharmaceutical industry.

The post is open to both experienced and newly qualified Occupational Hygienists (BSc/MSc), or individuals who have gained at least the Certificate of Operational Competence in Occupational Hygiene.

Candidates should be self-motivated, have good organisational skills and work well as part of a team. You should have a full driving licence and be available for travel in the UK and occasionally abroad.

Asbestos Surveyors and Analysts

Description

To join our teams based in Seaton Delaval, Northumberland, Glenrothes, Fife and Hull.

The role is varied, covering a wide range of industrial, commercial and domestic property surveys (management, re-inspection, refurbishment and demolition), air testing within and 4-stage clearance testing as required.

These posts are open to both experienced and newly qualified surveyors and analysts (or both).  Successful candidates will be encouraged to further their careers in the industry and full training will be given both internally and on external courses and examinations.

Candidates should be self-motivated, have good organisational skills and work well alone and as part of a team. You should have a full driving licence and be available for travel in the UK and occasionally abroad.

Experience of the TEAMS systems would be an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be given.

Laboratory Analysts – Bulk Asbestos Identification

Description

To join our teams based in Seaton Delaval, Northumberland and Glenrothes, Fife.

The role involves identification of asbestos fibres in materials, using polarized light microscopy.  Additional duties include equipment maintenance and calibrations as well as PAT (Portable Equipment Testing) testing.  Training will be given as required.

These posts are open to both experienced and newly qualified (BOHS P401 – Identification of Asbestos in Bulk Samples) candidates.  Successful candidates will be encouraged to further their careers in the industry and full training will be given both internally and on external courses and examinations.

Candidates should be self-motivated, have good organisational skills and work well alone and as part of a team.

Experience of the TEAMS systems would be an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be given.
