Marine Safety

We undertake marine safety consultancy work within the shipbuilding and ship repair industries and also offshore, prior to vessels entering Port of Tyne.

This includes testing for explosive atmospheres and safe oxygen levels, as well as entry certification for tanks and confined spaces and naked light and hot work certification.

Certification for safe entry into confined spaces and for the use of naked lights (hot work) aboard oil-carrying vessels has been undertaken for clients such as Swan Hunter (Tyneside), A & P Tyne, Tyne Dock Engineering Wear Dock Yard and the former Cammell Laird Shipyard.
