Asbestos Service
Vega's asbestos team are BOHS qualified and UKAS accredited. This provides independent verification that our procedures have been externally assessed and will deliver to our customers high quality analysis, management and reporting to ensure that people are not at risk from exposure to asbestos.
We specialise and can provide the following services:
- Asbestos management, refurbishment and demolition surveys
- Airborne asbestos fibre counting
- Enclosure leak and smoke testing
- Four stage clearance testing / Reoccupation certification
- Reassurance testing
- Compliance testing
- Ongoing management and inspection services
- Specification and methods for asbestos removal
- Maintenance and testing of HEPA extracting and H type vacuum equipment to BS5415
- Asbestos awareness training for duty holders
We are committed to ensure that our staff knowledge is maintained and they participate in regular training with the BOHS.
We participate in the Regular Inter-Laboratory Counting Exchange scheme (RICE) to constantly benchmark the quality of our in house laboratory. Our laboratory is UKAS accredited and enables us to turn around reports and analysis promptly when time is at a premium.
